Per Olav Hurv is a professionally trained chef with 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry. After completing apprenticeship at Vianvang with Arne Brimi, he went on to work at the Royal Yacht Norway, the Norwegian Embassy in Washington DC, Ski Lodge Engelberg, and «Huset» restaurant in Svalbard, to name a few.

 

THE BRIEF

Rebranding of Kokken Per aims to establish a more captivating and interesting appearance, suitable for both catering services and personal branding as a professional chef.

THE VISION

Food philosophy is based on pure and Norwegian ingredients with respect and expert handling of the ingredients.

The old name «Kokken Per» and Per Olav Hurv himself are down-to-earth in both his demeanor and his culinary style. The roots in the logo reflect his cooking method as well as his personal brand.

Colors of the season.

 

Anchoring the cuisine in the surroundings means also to use what’s in season. We aimed to create a simple color palette that could change throughout the year, both on websites and social channels, combining them with real stories and moments from the season.
